Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohammad al-Hakim declared Saturday that his presence in Lebanon is to attend the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, hoping that it will be a successful summit.
Following his meeting with Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain al-Tineh, the Iraqi minister added that he discussed with Berri the issues that concern the Arab nations in general, as well as the Syrian issue and the country’s return to the Arab League.
He also delivered a verbal message to Berri from President Adel Abdel Mahdi.
