Head of the Lebanese Democratic Party MP Talal Arslan declared Wednesday that the session held to hear his testimony in the case of Choueifat incident at Baabda Justice Palace was excellent, noting that he named witnesses.
Following the session, Arslan said that the Public Prosecution made a major mistake, stating that he registered his objection to charging young men without any evidence, eye witnesses or coroner’s report.
He added that “what happened in Choueifat is the result of a political decision,” calling on the judiciary to assume its responsibility, pointing out that he said in his testimony that the crime scene has been subject to manipulation, where evidence and weapons were hid.
