“Strong Lebanon” bloc said Tuesday that the British decision classifying Hezbollah as a terrorist organization does not concern Lebanon, but it concerns Britain, adding that it will not affect the Lebanese-British ties. The bloc added that Hezbollah is one of the components of the Lebanese cabinet and parliament.
Following its weekly meeting, the bloc stated that there is no need to recall the priority of the issue of the Syrian refugees, insisting on reaching any action or initiative that leads to a result.
The parliamentary bloc stressed that this issue is related to Lebanon’s sovereignty, Lebanese laws and the national interest, emphasizing that “they do not agree with any policy that conflicts with this endeavor.”
“A plan has been set for our ministerial priorities, to be announced later, and next week we will announce a program of parliamentary priorities for reform,” the bloc said after the meeting.
