Kanaan: Follow up on illegal hiring is serious

Head of the Finance and Budget House committee MP Ibrahim Kanaan said on Wednesday that the follow-up on the illegal hiring inside the state administrations and institutions “is serious.”

 

Speaking during a press conference following a meeting for the committee, Kanaan said that the state violated article No. 21 of the pay scale when it hired individuals.”

 

He also noted that 10000 individuals had been hired in just one year, adding that such a number is high.

 

“France, which is the 5th largest economy in the world, does not hire such a large number of individuals,” Kanaan concluded by saying.
