Airplane nose damaged while landing in Beirut airport-[PHOTO]

The state-run National News Agency reported on Sunday that the Kuwait Airways flight KU501 was struck by hailstones or lightning at an altitude of 8,000 feet.

 

The agency added that the plane’s nose was damaged, noting that it landed safely at the Beirut airport.

 

This as the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation is preparing technical reports about the incident.
