Interior and Municipalities Minister Raya al-Hassan gave her instructions to the security forces to be completely vigilant and on alert to deal with the growing number of Lebanese travelers; Arab and foreign tourists, in order preserve security and order at Beirut International Airport.
During an inspection tour at the airport, accompanied by Airport Security chief George Doumit and security apparatuses’ heads, the minister stressed that Lebanon is expecting a thriving tourism season, emphasizing the need to prepared and take the necessary measures in this regard to address any emergency that may come up.
