Hariri holds press conference, breaks silence on latest developments
Prime Minister Saad Hariri asserted on Tuesday that he cannot remain silent over statements "that breach the Constitution and norms."
Hariri’s comments were made during a press conference whereby he said that he was dismayed by remarks attributed to Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil during his tour in the Bekaa region.
“The best thing that Bassil has done is to deny these remarks, because they have negative repercussions,” he added.
On another note, Hariri stressed that the return of Syrian refugees dossier should be tackled with transparency and without any racism.
As for Suzanne al-Hajj and actor Ziad Itani dossier, Hariri said that political interference took place in the case.
