President of the Constitutional Council Judge Issam Sleiman told LBCI that MP Dima Jamali has apologized for her previous remarks against the council, in the presence of other members.
He added that the Constitutional Council will discuss in its first meeting the lawsuit filed against her, and will probably withdraw it after the apology.
Judge Sleiman noted that Jamali presented her response to the appeal filed to overturn her election, explaining that there a 3-month deadline to investigate the appeal and present the final report to the council.
