The Syrian army, stationed at the heights of Jabal al-Sheikh, apprehended two days ago two Lebanese State Security members while on a hiking and skiing trip in the heights of Jabal al-Sheikh, near the town of Rashaya, the state-run National News Agency reported.
After reaching the Lebanese-Syrian border where the Syrian army is stationed, both men were arrested and taken to the Syrian interior.
Meanwhile, efforts are being deployed between the Lebanese and Syrian armies as well as the Lebanese security apparatuses to secure their release, as they are expected to be handed over to the Lebanese authorities today, according to the NNA.
