Jumblatt says will no longer convey political messages through Twitter

Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt declared on Tuesday that he will no longer use his Twitter account to convey political messages.

 

“Nowadays, the social media platforms may have some advantages, but their disadvantages are bigger, that's why I decided from now on to use conventional communication methods,” Jumblat tweeted.

“These conventional methods are more guaranteed and more accurate and permit reevaluation and thinking apart from tension, counter-tension and draining and useless exchanges.”

 

He concluded by saying that he will “only post general stances and some pictures from now on.”
