Prime Minister Saad Hariri stressed Wednesday that the Lebanese cabinet and Parliament, as well as all of Lebanon stand against the deal of the century.
He said that “Lebanon’s Constitution prevents the resettlement and no one can change that.”
The PM called for abstaining from linking the 90-billion-dollar public debt with the issue of resettlement, emphasizing that work is underway to find solutions for the economic crisis.
Commenting on the election of the Constitutional Council’s members, Hariri said that no deals have been made and the candidates’ names are known, stating that “this is democracy.”
