Saudi ambassador denies to LBCI statements about Neom project published in al-Joumhouria daily
Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid al-Bukhari denied on Friday to LBCI the statements mentioned in the al-Joumhouria newspaper about the Neom project in Saudi Arabia, dubbing them as "untrue."

This as the Saudi embassy in Lebanon issued a statement in which Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid bin Abdallah al-Bukhari stressed that the statements attributed to him by the daily in its today’s issue are inaccurate because he did not say that the Neom project will allocate 60000 job opportunities for the Lebanese people.”

The embassy voiced hopes that the media outlets would be “precise and professional in reporting information, in order to achieve the message of mass media."

Earlier, al-Joumhouria daily quoted al-Bukhari as saying that “the Neom project, launched by Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, would allocate 60000 job opportunities for the Lebanese.”
