President Michel Aoun met on Monday with Deputy Prime Minister Ghassan Hasbani, who briefed him on the outcome of the United Nations' High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, which was held in New York.
Aoun later received Lebanese Ambassador to Oman, Albert Samaha, with whom he discussed the bilateral ties and the latest regional developments.
President Aoun also met with UK's Defense Senior Adviser on the Middle East, Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer, in the presence of British Ambassador to Lebanon, Chris Rampling, and an accompanying delegation.
Discussions focused on the current general situation in Lebanon and the broader region, in addition to the UK support for the Lebanese military and government.
