President Aoun meets with IMF official Jihad Azour

President Michel Aoun met on Friday with Regional Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department of the International Monetary Fund, former Minister Jihad Azour at the Baabda Presidential Palace.

Talks reportedly featured high over the relations between Lebanon and the IMF.

Discussions also tackled the current economic and financial situation of the country, mainly after the passing of the 2019 state’s Budget and the preparations for the 2020 state’s Budget.
