Bassil meets his British counterpart in London

Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil met on Thursday with his British counterpart Dominic Raab in London.

Talks reportedly featured high over the situation in the Middle East region and its repercussions on Lebanon in light of the tensions in the Gulf region after the attacks on Saudi Arabia’s Aramco oil plants.

Discussions also tackled the Syrian refugee crisis and the situation in south Lebanon.

Both ministers discussed ways of economic, cultural and trade cooperation between Lebanon and the UK, mainly in the information technology.
