President Aoun from New York: Lebanon’s economic situation is very critical

President Michel Aoun said on Monday that the economic situation in Lebanon is “very critical” as a result of accumulations since 1990, the events in the region which had huge repercussions on Lebanon, especially on the security level, without forgetting the burden of the Syrian refugee crisis.

Aoun’s comments were made from New York whereby he said that Lebanon is working on being back on its feet again through the establishment of development projects, serious reforms, and a new budget that includes sufficient austerity measures.
