A video went viral on social media platforms for a boy identified as Mahmoud Adham al-Ghadban partaking in putting out the fires that swept the Chouf region.
This as photos of him carrying a small container filled with water and extinguishing the flames in a forest were also seen on social media platforms.
 
A photo of him also sleeping inside a car after being exhausted from helping putting out the flames also went viral.
 
The boy was later honored by the administration of the al-Irfan schools for his bravery.
 
Later in the day, the seven-year old boy met with Prime Minister Saad Hariri at the Grand Serail and congratulated him on his bravery.
