The media office of Telecom Minister Mohammad Choucair issued a statement, denying the statement circulated by former Minister Wiam Wahhab regarding a contract with a Spanish company for service objectives in the telecom sector.
The statement added that “Wahhab’s words are as usual not true and not credible,” stressing that there is no Spanish company or any other company; but all this talk comes within the framework of a campaign targeting Minister Choucair for reasons that have become known, according to the statement.
It also denounced everything said by Wahhab in this regard, calling on the latter to resort to the judiciary and present all evidence that he has in this matter.
