LAF: We are committed to protecting freedom of expression and peaceful demonstration away from blocking roads

The Lebanese army’s Twitter account said on Wednesday that the army stands by the protesters and their “rightful demands.”

The army also stressed that it is committed to protecting freedom of expression and peaceful demonstration “away from blocking roads, restricting the movement of citizens and using them to riot."

“Our soldiers are deployed on all Lebanese territories around the clock to keep up with your peaceful movement and protect you at this delicate stage,” the army concluded by saying.
