A number of protesters staged sit-ins on Thursday outside banks and public administrations in the northern city of Tripoli. They asked the employees to leave their offices and joined them in closing the facilities, mainly the Banque Du Liban branch in the city, Kadischa Company, North Lebanon Water Authority, Mina Central, Lebanese University branches in Ras Maska, Electricite Du Liban, Education Department and other bank branches.
The protesters also closed the schools in the Mina region.
