Siniora to LBCI: President Aoun violated the Lebanese Constitution
Former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora asserted on Wednesday that the statement of former prime ministers did not mention any name for the premiership “because they are still waiting for the binding parliamentary consultations.”

“Everyone must realize that there are changes in Lebanon,” he added during an interview with LBCI.

"It is no longer possible to continue with the equation of a national unity government that destroyed the mechanisms of the democratic system in Lebanon," Siniora went on saying.

The former prime minister also said that President Michel Aoun violated the Lebanese Constitution in terms of consultations and the Cabinet formation.

“We call for returning to the respect of the constitution and putting an end to disputes,” he added.

Answering a question whether he prefers resigned Prime Minister Saad to head the new Cabinet, Siniora said that he backs Hariri for the post “because a person with no experience in the governmental work cannot be in the post.”
