Judge Ghassan Oueidat decided on Thursday to release former Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn after interrogating him in the case of the red notice issued by the Interpol and the case of his entry to the Israeli territories.
The interrogation with Ghosn had ended and the case was referred to State Prosecutor Judge Ghassan Oueidat to make the necessary decision.
A judicial source had told “Agence France Press” that a Lebanese prosecutor imposed a travel ban and asked for his file from the Japanese authorities.
Ghosn was summoned over an Interpol warrant issued by Japan seeking his arrest on financial misconduct charges, as well as a complaint filed by Lebanese lawyers over his entry to Israel and meeting with Israeli leaders.
