IMF: Lebanon did not request financial aid

The spokesman of the International Monetary Fund Gerry Rice announced on Thursday that Lebanon did not request any financial aid from the fund.

“The Lebanese state did not submit any request to receive any financial aid,” Rice said in a press conference.

“But, we are submitting technical aid such as consultations in the field of economic expertise and institutional support,” he noted.
