Diab heads first meeting with IMF experts

Prime Minister Hassan Diab headed a meeting with a team of experts from the International Monetary Fund on Thursday at the Grand Serail.

After the meeting, Minister of Finance Ghazi Wazni made it clear in a chat with journalists that this meeting was devoted to acquaintance.

Finance Minister Ghazi Wazni said the meeting would discus IMF experts' advice on Lebanon's rescue plan in accordance to the delegation's vision to the monetary and financial situation.

Wazni confirmed that the IMF delegation will continue its work until the completion of cooperation with Lebanon to prepare the plan.

"We are in a phase of technical advice. Assistance comes in the coming phase," Wazni said.
