Tenenti: Necessary preventive Coronavirus measures taken at UNIFIL

UNIFIL Spokesperson Andrea Tenenti said on Monday that the peacekeeping mission has taken all the necessary preventive measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus among the staff which comprises more than 11000 military and civil peacekeepers.

Tenenti’s comments were made to the state-run National News Agency whereby he said that medical guidelines were sent to all military and civil peacekeepers to guarantee their commitment to the directions of the World Health Organization.

 He added that UNIFIL members were advised not to travel to the infected regions or countries.
