Lebanon did not ask for a 7-day grace period for Eurobond -Grand Serail sources to LBCI
Sources at the Grand Serail denied on Thursday to LBCI that the Cabinet had ask for a seven-day grace period for a $1.2 billion Eurobond that matures on March 9.
 
The same sources added that a final decision regarding the Eurobond will be taken before March 7.
 
Earlier, Reuters cited a Lebanese government source saying that Lebanon intends to ask for a seven-day grace period for a $1.2 billion Eurobond that matures on March 9, as it is entitled to, in order to give financial advisers more time to draft a restructuring plan.
