Lebanese delegation, IMF hold another meeting

A meeting was held on Thursday between the International Monetary Fund and the Lebanese delegation through a video call.

The meeting reportedly tackled the losses figures related to the Central Bank.

This as governmental sources said that the IMF experts considered the approach of the government’s plan in this regard is more convenient than the figures of the Central Bank.

The same sources added that the figures tabled by the IMF experts were closer to the figures mentioned in the government’s plan.

The sources added that Central Bank Governor Riyad Salameh tried to clarify this issue and to explain his approach for the figures in his hands.
