Macron visits explosion site, listens to detailed explanation of what happened (Video)

French President Emmanuel Macron and the accompanying delegation, which included FM Jean-Yves Laudrian, French envoy Pierre Ducan and French ambassador Bruno Foucher, visited the scene of the explosion at the Port of Beirut on Thursday.

Macron heard a detailed explanation of what happened from the Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud, Director General of Civil Defense, Brigadier Raymond Khattar, the Army, the Red Cross and the engineering teams operating on the ground, in addition to the French contingent specialized in identifying technological risks.
