Derian visits Hariri's tomb: They are continuing to kill and assassinate Lebanon by obstructing the formation of the Salvation Government

Grand Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Abdullatif Derian visited on Saturday the tomb of martyred Prime Minister Rafic Hariri in Downtown Beirut on the 16th commemoration of his martyrdom.

Mufti Derian criticized those obstructing the formation of the government, saying: "They betrayed you and killed you, President [Rafiq Hariri], whoever assassinated you wanted to assassinate Lebanon, and they are now trying to kill it, assassinate it and besiege its people by obstructing the formation of the rescue government far from all whims and quotas."

"The Lebanese people now have fear and anxiety about the specter of disobedient and prohibited assassinations that, if they continue, may lead to the abolition of the foundations of this country," he added.

Derian called on God Almighty to inspire the Lebanese officials, in order to guide the country to the shores of safety.
