Mikati reports progress, albeit slow, towards forming government-[REPORT]

Prime Minister-designate Najib Mikati said on Thursday progress, albeit slow, has been achieved toward forming a government in Lebanon.

 

"Today's meeting was a positive step forward," he said after a session with President Michel Aoun.

 

Mikati also noted that another meeting will be held with President Aoun tomorrow.

 

Answering a question asked by reporters, he denied that Aoun is holding onto naming the minister of interior.
