Rahi meets with Army Commander in Bkerki

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rahi received on Friday the Lebanese Armed Forces Commander Major General Joseph Aoun with whom he discussed the security developments in Lebanon and the situation of the military institution.

 

For his part, Patriarch Rahi paid tribute to the role of the army and security forces in combating any attempt to destabilize the streets, which could threaten civil peace and the safety of citizens.
