MP Hachem to LBCI: Holding elections is our main interest

MP Qassem Hachem stressed on Monday during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show on LBCI that “what the House of Representatives issued regarding parliamentary elections date is a recommendation,” adding that “deadlines can be modified according to the decree and under legal framework.” 

 

Hachem also pointed out that “they are committed to holding elections as the date has nothing to do with this matter,” underlining that “they are currently concerned in holding elections, while they fully support a modern electoral law.”

 

“We are willing to proceed in anything of what the majority decides concerning the electoral law,” Hachem stated.
