Hariri: Summoning Geagea to appear before Intelligence Directorate is absurd
Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri tweeted on Tuesday, "Our absence from the Tayouneh incident and its repercussions was deliberate, because we refuse to engage in an absurd conflict, line up on the lines of the civil war and its sectarian divisions, and return to the language of security sniping and seizing political opportunities."
 
He considered that summoning the head of the Lebanese Forces Party Samir Geagea to appear before the Intelligence Directorate is also absurd and calls the country to further division and the employment of state administrations in the service of revenge policies.
 
"What is required is to inform all concerned, orally or by written notice, of the necessity to appear before the requirements of the national interest and not to neglect the remaining elements of civil peace," he added.
