Derian: Lebanon and Dar al-Fatwa keen on relationship with Gulf
Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic Sheikh Abdellatif Derian said in a statement on Thursday, "attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council states are rebuffed, no matter how high-ranking the person behind those attacks is.”

"Lebanon and Dar al-Fatwa are keen on their relations with the Arab Gulf states and condemn, denounce, and deplore any offense to these countries with which we want our relations to be at the best possible level," Derian added.

"Therefore, we are waiting for those concerned in the Lebanese state to correct what was committed against the aforementioned brothers, to turn the page on this issue, and never allow its recurrence, in order to avoid mishaps that negatively affect Lebanon and the Lebanese," he concluded.
