Director General of NSSF Karaki issues new decisions

Director General of the National Social Security Fund Mohammad Karaki issued on Wednesday a decision under which the Fund’s contracted hospitals were given financial advances for December 2021, totaling roughly 46 billion Lebanese pounds distributed between hospitals and doctors.

 

Additionally, he issued a briefing note in which it was decided to increase the cost of a dialysis session from LBP 250,000 to LBP 500,000.

 

Karaki also addressed with Finance Minister Youssef Khalil the file of Lebanon’s indebtedness to NSS, which totaled almost 5000 billion LBP in September 2021, in addition to the necessity to pay the full amount of allocations of the years 2020-2021.
