Economic bodies meet with Director General of NSSF Karaki

Economic bodies headed by former Minister Mohammad Choucair held a meeting on Thursday with Director General of the National Social Security Fund Mohammad Karaki, whereby they discussed several critical NSSF issues, including Karaki's recent circular No. 3508 on the minimum salary recorded and declared of at least one million and one hundred thousand Lebanese pounds, as well as the Fund’s procedures in this regard. 

 

Karaki then stressed that “the issue will be addressed immediately by issuing a memorandum addressing the confusion and the need to receive, record and process all transactions in accordance with the rules and as provided by institutions and companies.”

 

They also agreed to “complete communication and meetings between economic bodies and Director General of the NSSF, in order to address various important issues of common interest.”
