Finance Minister Khalil says no agreement yet on official exchange rate

Finance Minister Youssef Khalil announced on Monday after the cabinet session that there are no new taxes, and that “Sayrafa” exchange rate will be applied to customs transactions in 2022 draft budget.

 

He also mentioned that no agreement has yet been reached on the official exchange rate, but numbers might not be far from reported rates between 15,000 and 20,000 LBP per dollar.
