BDL: Banks must keep their branches open until six in the evening

Governor of the Banque du Liban Riyad Salameh announced on Friday in a statement that Lebanese banks, starting from next Monday, for three consecutive days, must keep their branches and funds open every day until six o’clock in the evening in order to meet the requests of citizens to buy dollars at the rate of Sayrafa to those who handed over Lebanese pounds as well as paid the salaries of employees in the public sector in dollars is also based on the rate of Sayrafa.
