Lebanon invites US envoy to Beirut to discuss maritime dispute with Israel

The Lebanese authorities invited the U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein to Beirut to continue the negotiations over the demarcation of the Lebanese southern maritime borders with Israel, after the arrival of the Energean Power FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading unit) to the Karish field, which Beirut considers to be located in a disputed area.
