Mufti Derian receives US Ambassador Shea

Grand Mufti Abdel Latif Derian met on Thursday with US ambassador to Lebanon Dorothy Shea, whereby they discussed the situation in Lebanon and the region.

 

Derian then received Governor of Beirut Judge Marwan Abboud, whereby the latter said he briefed the Mufti on the conditions of Beirut, adding that they agreed to vigorously and permanently follow up with him on all matters that concern the city of Beirut in these difficult circumstances, especially standing by the families and people of Beirut.
