Lebanese Presidency: Who were the non-Maronite presidents?-[REPORT]

After negotiations between the Maronite, Sunni and Shiite leaders in preparation for Lebanon's independence in 1943, an agreement over power-sharing arrangement was reached, which was on how to organize the foundations of governance.

 

This unwritten agreement was known as the "1943 Charter."
