Tehran has not agreed to hand over stockpile of highly enriched uranium: Iranian source to Reuters

A senior Iranian source told Reuters on Sunday that Tehran has not agreed to surrender its stockpile of highly enriched uranium, adding that Iran’s nuclear file is not part of the preliminary agreement with the United States.

“The nuclear issue will be addressed in negotiations toward a final agreement, and therefore it is not part of the deal currently being worked on,” the source said. “No agreement has been reached on shipping Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium outside the country.”
