REPORT: President Aoun says proud of Lebanon's security apparatuses

President Michel Aoun hailed on Saturday the role played by General Security chief Major General Abbas Ibrahim and the “success he had achieved in critical and sensitive cases.”

 

Aoun’s comments were made during a ceremony to mark the 72th anniversary of the Lebanese General Security’s anniversary.

 

He also expressed his pride over the Lebanese security apparatuses, adding that Lebanon is preparing to celebrate the liberation of the Lebanese border towns from terrorism.
