Despite all the warnings sent out concerning the public safety of the buildings and their inhabitants, Interior Minister Nouhad al-Mashnouq is refusing the retract his decision allowing the municipalities to grant construction permits for a building of 150 square meters.
The most prominent warning in this regard comes from the Directorate General of Urban Planning, which is an official association falling under the authority of the Public Works and Transport Ministry.
