REPORT: Closer look on material damages after Awkar protest
Lebanese security forces fired tear gas and water cannons at protesters near the US Embassy in Lebanon on Sunday during a demonstration against President Donald Trump's announcement of Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel.

Protesters, set fires in the street and threw projectiles towards security forces that had barricaded the main road to the US Embassy in the Awkar area north of Beirut.

Protesters also burned an effigy of Trump and US and Israeli flags.

This report will shed light on the material damages of this protest that turned into violent clashes with the security forces.
