Minister of Energy Cesar Abi Khalil announced on Thursday after the cabinet’s session, that exploratory drilling in the sea for oil and gas wells will begin as of 2019.
Abi Khalil told the press: “The cabinet approved the offer presented by Consortium that involves Total, Eni, and Novatek for exploration and production of oil in two areas in the first round of licenses in the country.”
