During Thursday’s Cabinet session, Prime Minister Saad Hariri said that the US wouldn’t have taken the decision to recognize Jerusalem as capital of Israel if the Arab countries weren’t busy with their internal conflicts.
For his part, Minister Gebran Bassil suggested during the session to establish a Lebanese Embassy in East Jerusalem, but Hezbollah Ministers and both Ministers Ali Qanso and Jean Ogassapian decided to slow down before taking any decision in this matter.
