REPORT: Body of a 15-year old girl found in Akkar

The body of a 15-year-old girl identified as N.A.T. (born in 2003) was transferred on Friday to the el-Youssef Medical Center in the northern city of Halba with a gunshot in her head.

The body was found at her home in Akkar’s town of Wadi Jamous.

 

The girl had been married for five months.

 

Security forces launched investigations into the incident and arrested her husband.
