REPORT: PM Hariri heads series of meetings at Grand Serail

Prime Minister Saad Hariri headed on Thursday a meeting for the law modernization committee  at the Grand Serail.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Justice Salim Jreissati, Minister of Economy Raed Khoury and Secretary General of the Cabinet Fouad Fleifel.

Following the meeting, Jreissati said that the meeting was dedicated to updating a number of laws ahead of International conferences and to improve the country’s economic and financial situation.

For his part, Minister Khoury said that the committee approved on updating draft laws in order to attract capitals to Lebanon.

Hariri then headed a meeting for the ministerial committee tasked to examine how to pay the pay-scale in public institutions.

 

The meeting was attended by Vice Prime Minister Ghassan Hasbani, Minister of Finance Ali Hassan Khalil, Minister of Telecommunication Jamal al-Jarrah, Minister of Energy Cesar Abi Khalil and Minister of Education Ghattas Khoury.
