The ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the municipal building in the town of Maaysra in Ftouh, Keserwan would have passed normally, if it wasn’t for the statement said before head of the Federation of Municipalities of Keserwan-Ftouh Joan Hbeish and Hezbollah candidate Hussein Zeayter; a statement Hbeish said that he was surprised by it.
This comes as Hbeish offered the key to the city of Keserwan to Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
This declaration sparked many objections by political parties, mainly the Lebanese Forces.
